Sarah de Possesse is a filmmaker, producer and actress who has won numerous awards for her breakout performance in the series Starting From…Now, including ‘Best Actor (Female)’ at the 2016 Indiepossible International Film Festival, ‘Best Supporting Actress’ at the 2015 NYC Webfest and ‘Best Ensemble’ at the 2016 LA Webfest. Her latest series, Thirty, won ‘Best Dramedy’ at the 2020 NYC Webfest, 2022 New Jersey Web Fest, and 2022 NYC Webfest. Recent television credits include Wellmania (Netflix), Pieces Of Her (Netflix) and Frayed (ABC).
As the director and founder of Catch That Wave Productions, she has worked extensively throughout Australia, and internationally since 2007. With experience as a content producer, news and video producer, and editor across a host of major networks and production houses including MTV Networks Australia, Yahoo7 and Gravity Media, her body of work covers web series, television, short films, music videos, documentaries and transmedia storytelling.
Jacki Mison has over 20 years experience in the entertainment industry, working as a writer, director, producer and actress. As a writer, Jacki has been involved in a number of creative developments, including the children’s musical Electric Avenue. She also wrote the pilot episode for the children’s series Danny Ferrelli, and has worked on numerous short films as a writer and writer/director — two of which (The Score and Vera) were selected and produced by QPIX as part of their Raw Nerve program.
Her directing experience spans both theatre and film, and from 2014–18, she was a director and Senior Acting Lecturer at the New York Film Academy (Sydney). She has produced and starred in numerous shows with her own theatre company, Seeker Productions and has worked with many other companies including the Queensland Theatre Company, Opera Australia, La Fura dels Baus, La Boite, bAKEHOUSE Theatre, 23rd Productions, Strut n’ Fret and Twisted Tree Productions. Her most recent television credits include The Peter Brock Story (channel 10), Catalyst (ABC), Wonderland (channel 10) and Australia the Story of Us (channel 7).
